Candela, the well-known laser manufacturer, recently came out with its newest innovation: the Candela GentleMAX®. Candela’s GentleMAX uses multiple wavelengths of laser energy, enabling it to treat various skin conditions like unwanted hair, spider veins, age spots and even minor wrinkles.
How Does the Candela GentleMAX Work?
The Candela GentleMAX takes hair removal technology to the next level, by combining the capabilities of two of Candela’s top laser systems, the long pulse GentleYAG laser, and the GentleLASE alexandrite laser system.

Fat Transfer is one of the most popular and common procedures we perform at Imagenes Cosmetic Center. It is essentially the cornerstone of our facial rejuvenation program.  SmartLipo
El láser que se usa para hacer el SmartLipo ha recibido mucha entención de la prensa desde que fue aprobada por la FDA en 2006. Este sistema de láser usa una canula pequeña que promueva la formación de nuevo colágeno. Mientras que el calor del láser derrite un poco de grasa, el uso del SmartLipo sólo no resulta en un mejoramiento cosmético significante. El SmartLipo funcciona mejor cuando se usa en conjunto con la lipoescultura para pacientes que quieren que la piel se ponga más firme. El costo de usar SmartLipo es $500 por cada área.
¿Qué es SmartLipo?
SmartLipo es un láser que usa calor que desmenuza el colágeno en la piel. El nuevo colágeno se forma después de usar el SmartLipo y causa que la piel se ponga más apretada y gruesa. El SmartLipo funciona de una manera similar a otros tratamiento de láser como Thermage o Titan, pero el calor del SmartLipo se aplica por debajo de la piel después que la grasa es eliminada.
